The flagship 12-year-old single malt, representing Glenglassaugh’s distinctive coastal style, is featured prominently with a new design reflecting sea grass tones to capture the essence of the coastal environment. Additionally, two new whiskies, Sandend and Portsoy, embody the rich coastal essence of Glenglassaugh. Sandend, influenced by the crescent beach of Sandend Bay, undergoes maturation in bourbon, sherry, and manzanilla casks, creating a tropical sweetness with a hint of sea salt. This collection includes five single malt Scotch whiskies with age statements of 12 (S$109), 15 (S$224), 18 (S$475), 21 (S$1,485), and 30 (S$6,000) years, marking the reintroduction of age statement whiskies to The Macallan’s global travel retail selection. The collection introduces a fresh visual identity influenced by the brand’s rich heritage and spiritual home. This visual identity was developed in collaboration with the visionary American graphic designer David Carson, drawing inspiration from Jerez, a distinctive region with historic vineyards and exquisite wines, where The Macallan’s sherry-seasoned oak casks are meticulously crafted.

IWA 5 Assemblage 4
Shiraiwa K.K. has launched its fourth release, IWA 5 Assemblage 4. Brewed and blended for the first time exclusively in its home of Shiraiwa on the foothills of Tateyama, Assemblage 4 marks an evolution in the making of IWA.
The assemblage process took place in the serenity of the doma, a space symbolically positioned between the rice fields and the brewing vats. The three weeks of the Assemblage process resulted again in evolution, one further exploring the direction developed from A1 through A4, a step completed in the spirit of singularity, sophistication, and intricate layering.
