Goodwood Park Hotel Singapore’s Pastry Chef Joe Tan manages to evoke happiness and joy in his Christmas creations this year. When I attended the Christmas Media Party at Tudor Courtyard last month, I was overjoyed by the array of colours and creative pastries on display. Given the choice, I could have stood in front of these beauties all night and just smile at them. They did not only look good, but were also tasty and memorable.
The D24 Snowman is made with choux pastry cases that are filled with rich D24 durian cream. His scarf and hat are made of icing, They are sold as a pair at S$38. So cute. So instagram worthy.
Another favourite is the Goodwood D24 Durian Christmas Log Cake. It is back by popular demand and available at S$69 for 1kg. What more can any one ask for. Generous creamy durian in vanilla sponge. Get more than 1kg. I am pretty sure one log cake is not enough for you.
