The festive season is quite often the one where your feast the most. Christmas menus with tantalising dishes are in every place you go and that includes O’Coffee Club.
This yuletide holiday, O’Coffee Club celebrates with its My Favourite Things menu available till 31 Dec at selected outlets. The menu comprises dishes such as Turkey Roulade (SGD$18), Chicken Truffle Mushroom spaghetti (S$16) and the Jolly Mud Pie (S$12.20).
I would highly recommend the Chicken Truffle Mushroom spaghetti. It is a comforting and sinful dish with lots of truffle cream, roasted chicken and mixed mushrooms. I also liked the Smoked Duck salad (S$12) with its savoury and smoky appeal paired with a mesclun salad, dark cherries and vinaigrette.
Apart from the dine-in options, O’Coffee Club also has cakes and cookies available for takeaway. Its newest flavour, the White Lychee Christmas log cake (S$58.85) features a traditional light orange sponge cake layered with lychee emulsion and tangy raspberry jam. The piece de resistance lies in the middle of the roll where a rose essence cream centre rests.
The other new flavour this year also includes the Mont Blanc Yuletide (S$53.50). If you’re a fan of chestnut cream, you’re going to love this one. It has layers of chestnut with kirsch and blood orange jelly all enveloped in a chestnut cream on a base of almond sponge.
There is also a variety of other goodies such as Christmas cookies, macarons, fruit cake and Christmas Stollen.
Free delivery is available for purchases of S$500 to a single location. A delivery fee of S$20 applies to purchases less than S$500. All deliveries take three days to process and the last day for collections or delivery is 31 December 2014.
