Nespresso’s latest Gran Maestria coffee machine is now available in Singapore at a top-of-the-range pricing of S$1,088 or S$200 off the Gran Maestria till 30 October. Differentiating itself from the Maestria which was launched in January this year, the Gran Maestria comes with an additional function of pre-heating your cup as well as an Aeroccino milk frother that makes cold and hot milk froth. Available in only Titanium here in Singapore, the machine is slightly bigger than the sleek Maestria.
Other features of the Gran Maestria include a 1.4L water tank, a used capsule container for up to 14 capsules, a descaling warning system and a programmable automatic switching off after nine minutes of inactivity.
Another limited edition coffee capsule is launched, with a 13 intensity. The intensity is based on the density of the beans roasted and their potential extraction into the cup. Cubania is a slow steam-treated mix of mild Arabica with high-end Indian Robusta that produces a rich, creamy creation.
The recommended way to enjoy Cubania is to start with a 25ml ristretto extraction followed by mixing it with a measure of cane sugar, and extracting a second 25ml ristretto and pouring it over the creamy coffee and sugar mixture. You an also enjoy a Café Cubano and combine it with 25ml of hot milk.
A sleeve of 10 capsules of Cubania is priced at S$12 and is available exclusively for Nespresso Club members. Nespresso will introduce a special Cubanía duo pack at S$14 which comes with a sugar sleeve.
