Nespresso Crealto Culinary Treats This October

Four delectable dishes created with Nespresso’s limited edition grand cru CREALTO will be available in a special collaboration with four restaurants in the month of October. Me@OUE and Deliciae Hospitality Management’s La Cantine, Sabio by the Sea and Forlino will serve up special Nespresso Crealto-infused dishes.  There will be a main course and three desserts.

Crealto was created by Nespresso Green Coffee specialist Alexis Rodriguez and inspired by Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco. Crealto has an intensity of eight out of ten and is blended entirely from washed Arabicas. Check out what will be available during this limited promotion as Nespresso celebrates the launch of the new Crealto for business solution customers.

The only main course in the collaboration, Chef Damien Le Bihan from Sabio By The Sea has created the 300g grilled ribeye in coffee beans with velvet chilli sauce (contains capsicum) and viola mash potatoes.  Priced at S$42++, the ribeye is enhanced with the rich coffee flavour of the Crealto.

Sabio By The Sea is located at 31 Ocean Way #01-02, next to W Hotel Singapore.

Three Michelin-Star Chef Bruno Menard of La Cantine has created a coffee flavoured dessert. This dessert is made of many ingredients giving every bite a different yet surprising treat. Chef Bruno has used Chantilly Cream, vanilla ice cream, crumble, caramel sauce, ladyfinger biscuits, Valrhona Caramelia Crunchy Pearls and two shots of Crealto.  Priced at S$12++, I suspect this would be a favourite for many.

Japanese native Chef Kentaro Torii of Italian restaurant Forlino has created reconstructed a Tiramisu using Nespresso Crealto. The Nespresso Crealto’s bitterness compliments the richness of the Mascarpone cream. Priced at S$15++, the Crealto Tiramisu is one pretty dessert. Executive Pastry Chef Nicholas Vergnole of ME@OUE offers balance of woodiness, bitterness and body within the Crealto blend with his Crealto Coffee Sunrise creation. The Crealto Coffee Sunrise contains a toasted bread ice cream which compliments the dish. Other elements of the dessert include the Crealto Tuile Chimney and The Valrhona Lactee Spiral, among others.

Chef Vergnole wanted to emulate the effect of waking up bright and early on a cold winter morning while sitting by an open fire and enjoying the sunlight with a cup of coffee.
