1 September 2012, Singapore – Celebrate mid-autumn festival with Summer Pavilion’s new Longevity Mooncakes. Filled with rich white lotus seed with dried longan and wolfberries also known as goji berries, these mooncakes are available at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia till September 30, 2012, these mooncakes are handcrafted by Chef de Cuisine Fok Kai Yee and his team.
The longan and wolfberries add a delicious fragrance to the white lotus paste Longan is believed to have tonic properties by the Chinese while wolfberries is known to be high in antioxidants, promote eye vision and believed to boost longevity. Both add texture to the silky white lotus seed paste which is pleasing on the palate.
Priced from S$42 for a box of six the Mooncakes will be available at Summer Pavilion (11am to 9pm) and guests can choose to purchase the mooncakes from select island-wide locations – Millenia Walk, Takashimaya Square at Ngee Ann City, Jurong Point, Raffles Exchange Link, Vivo City, Century Square and Junction 8 during dedicated Mid-Autumn Mooncake fairs.
