The full selection of the eighth edition of the MICHELIN Guide Singapore’s one, two and three MICHELIN Star revelation will be announced on 25 June 2024 at 10am SGT via the MICHELIN Guide Official Website and a dedicated press announcement.
This change of format will not impact the selection process or results. The selection criteria for all establishments will adhere to a global standard upheld by the team of anonymous MICHELIN inspectors. Establishments are chosen based on the same five key criteria that MICHELIN inspectors use anywhere in the world. They include ingredient quality, cooking techniques, harmony of flavours, expression of the chef’s personality in the cuisine, and consistency of excellence both over time and across the menu.
Last year, five new restaurants were awarded one star, bringing the total number of MICHELIN-starred restaurants in Singapore to 55. Singapore also welcomed its first MICHELIN Green Star in 2023.
The Bib Gourmand selection will be unveiled on 18 June 2024 for restaurants, Hawker stalls and street food establishments that speak to the value, experience and diversity found in Singapore’s vibrant dining scene. Last year 79 food establishments were recognised with a Bib Gourmand. 19 were newly awarded establishments.
