Melt Café, the all-day dining buffet restaurant of Mandarin Oriental, Singapore gets a refresh with a contemporary and stylish interior. Melt Café offers an alfresco area amidst lush greenery as well as plenty of seating space indoors. While there may be some changes in the interior, the food here still retains its consistency and great taste.
Enter the restaurant and be welcomed by the patisserie counter and dessert section of the buffet spread. Step further in, and there are various islands serving different cuisines and items.
As in all buffet spreads, there is a seafood counter with a variety of shellfish and crustaceans. The parade of lobster, clams, oysters, crabs, prawns and other shellfish are neatly displayed in ice which are both pleasant to the eye and the tummy.
Other areas feature salads, a sashimi section, an ‘Asian delight of the day’ section offering noodles or drunken prawns and others. The Indian cuisine section remain in the same area as before offering favourite delights alongside the European and Asian spreads.
Don’t forget the special barbecue in the alfresco area which serves up grilled lamb and beef steaks as well as seafood and roasted vegetables during dinner.
Lunch buffet is available from Monday to Saturday at S$62++ per person. Dinner buffet is available at S$78++ per person from Sunday to Wednesday and S$88++ per person from Thursday to Saturday (inclusive of barbecue selections). Sunday brunch which comes with free flow of juices and soft drinks is priced at S$98++ per person. For S$158++ per person, the Sunday brunch includes free flow of Veuve Clicquot champagnes, wines, cocktails, beers, juices and soft drinks.
