28 November 2012, Singapore – Established celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz’s commissioned photographs in the third edition of The Macallan Master of Photography series features Scottish actor Kevin McKidd from TV drama series Grey’s Anatomy and cult film Trainspotting.  Annie was tasked to interpret four single cask variants released for the first time and came out with four powerful images shot in and around New York City.

Annie started out as a photojournalist for Rolling Stone in 1970 while she was still a student at the San Francisco Art Institute.   Her first major assignment was for a cover story on John Lennon and she became Rolling Stone’s chief photographer in 1973.  She had shot one hundred and forty two covers and published photo essays on scores of stories, including the resignation of Richard Nixon and of the 1975 Rolling Stones tour during her tenure at Rolling Stone.

Kevin McKidd is from Elgin which is just miles away from The Macallan Distillery on Speyside.  Kevin used to work at the distillery in his youth and remains a Macallan drinker till this day making it meaningful for him to be photographed for Macallan.
