Lyre’s Non-Alcoholic Cocktails in A Can Taste Surprisingly Better than Some Alcoholic Ones We’ve Had

When I was pitched the idea of trying non-alcoholic cocktails, I wasn’t excited at all. But I thought, what the heck. Let’s be open-minded and give them a try. Lyre’s just launched its ready-to-drink cocktails in a can in Singapore. When I received two sets of the three new flavours of G&T, Classico, and Amafli Spritz, I chucked them in the refrigerator to chill them.

It wasn’t until a few days later, Dennis decided to drink them because the days were scorching hot and it was a promise of a sweet drink without the alcohol, the way he likes his beverages – sweet.

By the way, Dennis doesn’t like drinking alcohol. He is the sober guy in our I Try & I Share videos on our Youtube channel.

He enjoys the G&T and Classico but doesn’t really fancy the Amalfi Spritz which resembles the Aperol Spritz. Perhaps we should have drunk it with lots of ice. Interestingly enough, the Amalfi Spritz was awarded a Gold Medal in the 2021 International Spirits Challenge within the No & Low category where 721 products were entered. I tried them too and was quite surprised at how they tasted. Almost as good as the real thing but without the alcohol. An option for those who don’t hold their alcohol well or just prefer to stay alcohol-free.

The G&T has flavours of juniper, citrus and refreshing tonic. Add mint or other herbs if you wish. The Classico has a crisp, dry finish and hints of fresh peach and granny smith apples.

The Lyre’s ready-to-drink cocktails are available by the can at S$6.50 or in a pack of four by flavour at Cold Storage Great World, Cold Storage Kallang Leisure Park and Cold Storage Plaza Singapura at S$25. They also can be purchased through Lyre’s Singapore’s e-commerce platform in a mixed carton of 12 with four cans of each flavour at S$78 or in a case of 24 cans by flavour at S$156.
