Starbucks in the U.S. collaborated with Gilt.com to offer only 1,000 exclusive new limited edition metal Starbucks cards. The cards were launched last Friday at http://www.gilt.com/starbucksrose. Each hand-assembled card features artisan rose base metal with rose coloured coating and traditional Starbucks lettering laser-etched on it.
The card can be purchased for US$450 with a preloaded value of US$400 for use at Starbucks. It comes with My Starbucks Rewards Gold-level status that offers a free birthday treat and 15% off coupon at StarbucksStore.com, free refills on iced or brewed coffee and tea, special offers and coupons, and a free drink or food stem with every 12 stars.
This limited edition metal Starbucks card can only be used at participating Starbucks locations in the U.S.
