Indulge in Lunar New Year Delights: Qantas Singapore First and Business Lounges at Changi Airport Celebrate the Year of the Dragon

Qantas customers travelling from Singapore during the lunar new year will be treated to special menu items in the airline’s First and Business lounges at Changi Airport. Local delicacies curated by Qantas Creative Director of Food, Beverage and Service, Neil Perry and inspired by Lunar New Year traditions will be available till 18 February 2024.

Guests at the Singapore First Lounge will be treated to prawn toast, kueh pie tee, Mandarin and yuzu sorbets, seasonal fruit plates filled with Mandarin oranges, and fortune cookies and golden coins. At the Singapore Business Lounge, guests get treated to love letters, fa gao, nian gao, pineapple tarts, mango sago pomelo and fortune cookies and golden coins.

Both will feature special cocktails by in-house mixologists, including the ‘Dragon’s Whisper’ a concoction of Campari, Aperol, Lilet Blanc and mandarin puree in the First Lounge and the ‘Dragon’s Roar’ with sparkling wine, yuzu puree and orange garnish in the Business Lounge.

A Four Season Lime Tree, an auspicious sign of prosperity, wealth and abundance will welcome guests at the entrances to the lounges. The round golden fruits symbolise gold nuggets.

Qantas operates flights from Singapore to five destinations including London, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. It will operate flights between Singapore and Darwin in December this year.
