Swarovski High tea at SKAI in May and June 2024

Indulge in an Elegant Swarovski High Tea with a View at Skai Until June 2024

Indulge in an elegant high tea experience inspired by Swarovski’s new collection at SKAI on level 70 of the Swissôtel The Stamford Singapore this May and June. The stunning view will also blow you away. This Swarvoski High Tea is available from 3 to 5pm at SKAI at S$68++ per adult and S$34++ per child (six to 12 years old).

Key pieces from Swarovski’s Mother’s Day jewellery collection, featuring the brand’s signature colours of green, pink, yellow, and blue, are showcased throughout SKAI. The beautiful fresh-cut pink peonies and vibrant octagonal boxes immediately captured my attention as I approached my seat.

Executive Chef Seumas Smith and Executive Pastry Chef Yong Ming Choong created the high tea menu inspired by Swarovski jewels’ blinks. The vibrant colours and shapes are presented through thoughtfully selected ingredients and flavours.

Delicate savouries such as the Mortadella, Cherry and Salsa Verde is rich in flavours in a very soft brioche. The pink hues evoke Swarovski’s brand colours. The Scottish Salmon Rilette Kueh Pie Tee looks nothing like your traditional Kueh Pie Tee. Instead, a smoked salmon rillette and dill crème fraîche is glazed with cream cheese and dusted with silver powder. The King Crab, Yuzu and Sorrel showcases fresh Japanese king crab in a black pepper emulsion and yuzu gel garnished with pretty chrysanthemum flowers. The Blue Fin Tuna, Ponzu and Caviar feature blue fin tuna topped with N25 caviar served with crème fraîche and garnished with gold leaf and blue flowers.

Other savouries include the Coronation Smoked Chicken, Mango Chutney and Corainder as well as the Brie Cheese Quiche.

The desserts look like works of art. The Hazelnut Praline Yuzu Vanilla Swan Choux is pretty to look at and tastes equally good with a delicate balance of hazelnut praline and yuzu. The Golden Raspberry Rose Mascarpone Octagon Sable features fresh raspberries with rose mascarpone cheese atop a fruit tarlet and finished with a pink diamond-shaped jelly.

The Swarvoski Pistachio Cherry Almond Genoa is also very pretty with the words “Swarvoski” printed on a green tea-infused almond sponge filled with cherry marmalade and vanilla chantilly cream.

Two cakes are offered as a table-side service. You can choose from the Yuzu Blackberry Vanilla Tea Cake or the SKAI Chocolate Entremet. The service staff will cut you a slice from the whole cakes.

The Yuzu Blackberry Vanilla Tea cake is a sponge cake with yuzu cream and fresh blackberries. The Swarovski brand logo in its iconic shade of pink sits atop the cake. This cake is served with chantily cream. The SKAI Chocolate Entremet is a vibrant yellow diamond-shaped cake featuring tropical coulis of passion fruit, mango, papaya and coconut, topped with 64% dark chocolate mousse, hazelnut crunch and garnished with white chrysanthemum tea flowers.

The High Tea set comes with Zimmy Snipper mocktail created with Banana Bols, elderflower syrup, citrus and tonic. Top up S$10++ for a cocktail with an addition of Bacardi Rum. Choose from a selection of TWG teas or Gourmet coffee. Guests also enjoy 10% off regular-priced items at Swarvoski Raffles City. Three lucky diners stand to win a Swarvoski gift worth over S$120.
