Mikuni’s annual bento set, which celebrates Hina Matsuri in March, returns with a two-tier lunch bento to celebrate the families’ aspirations for their daughters’ well-being and prosperity. In previous years, bentos were presented in a long single-tier wooden box. The Hina Matsuri Menu is available from 12pm to 2.30pm until 31 March 2024 at S$118++ per adult.
Newly appointed Executive Chef Masa Nakao has been with the team since 2017 and curated the new Hina Matsuri menu that would delight diners. Start off with an appetiser for Asparagus, Zenmai, Ikura, Uni, and Agodasi.
The steamed Sea Bream is served with Japanese Bamboo Shoot and Wakame while the grilled Wagyu Yawata-Mai features a premium cut of wagyu beef wrapped with a burdock root. The Hina Sushi comes with a selection of sushi in colourful elements of green, yellow, pink and white representing the spring, summer, autumn and winter seasons.
Other highlights include the Asari Clam Soup and Compressed Watermelon served with Lychee Hokkaido Milk Ice Cream.
