30 January 2013, Thailand – Located 150 km northeast of Bangkok, at the edge of the Khao Yai National Park is Thai wineyard PB Valley Estate in the Khao Yai wine region. Two fully accredited Thai winemakers helm the 80 hectares of growing grapes at the wineyard The best time to visit the wineyard is between November and March when it is the dry season. The winery is open to visitors daily from 8.30am to 4.30pm offering wine tasting tours.
On the weekends of February, you get to also to visit the various sections where grapes are ready for harvesting where you would be shown how the ripe brunches of grapes are cut and a little competition is organised to see who can cut the most grapes in a give period of time.
Scheduled tours at 10.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm are organised while private tours can bee booked on request. There is a fee of Baht 200 for adults and Baht 150 for Children 4 to 12 years old.
