Hard Rock Cafe’s Vegetarian Month returns for the second year this October in time for Vegetarian Awareness Month. The vegetarian menu will be available at Hard Rock Cafe at Cuscaden Road as well as the Sentosa outlet. Available in the menu are burgers, wraps, salads and a vegetarian Buffalo style ‘Wings”.
Vegetarian Burgers
The Quinoa Burger is my personal favourite. The patty is made with quinoa, red onion, Portobello mushrooms, eggs, Cheddar, Pecans, barley, soy sauce and breadcrumbs. The patty is topped with Sriracha hummus, argula and tomatoes. The patty has a sort of crunchy texture and the mushy texture synonymous with vegetarian patties. Just love how flavourful this burger is.
The Cauliflower Burger has a patty of cauliflower, garlic, egg, goat cheese, oregano and breadcrumbs and is topped with zucchini, squash, Monterey Jack cheese, arugula, tomato and garlic aioli served on a toasted brioche bun.
Both burgers are priced at S$19 each.

The Cauliflower “Wings” buffalo style cauliflower that is fried till crispy. Think Buffalo Wings. This dish opens up your appetite with the sour sauce. Was a bit too sour for me, but then I am not a fan of anything sour. The Cauliflower “Wings” is priced at S$14. There are also four types of sauces to choose from. There is a dry, classic, heavy metal and tangy sauce.
Salads
There are two salads added to the menu. The Pico de Gallo Quinoa Arugula Salad is a mix of pico de gallo, quinoa, lime juice, chopped cilantro mixed with arugula and topped with shredded Brussels sprouts, spicy pecans, feta cheese and dried cranberries tossed in a citrus vinaigrette. This is another personal favourite.
The Feta & Fig Salad contains fresh figs, feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, pine nuts and arugula tossed and served with raspberry chipotle vinaigrette.
The salads cost more than the burger. They are priced at S$22 each.
Wraps
Wraps are a filling option for one, but you can also order them to share. The Grilled Ratatouille Wrap contains grilled vegetables with Sriracha mayonnaise, olive oil and baby arugula, served in a seasoned grilled flour tortilla with a side salad.
The Seared Corn and Green Bean Wrap is filled with grilled green beans topped with roasted corn, black beans, pico de gallo, rice and spiced yogurt served with grilled flour tortilla and a side salad.
Both wraps are priced at S$18 each.
Cocktails
Three cocktails have also been concocted to pair with the new vegetarian menu. There is the Very Veggie ‘Tini, a fresh cucumber, red onion, mint and lime juice shaken with Greek yogurt and Tito’s Handmade Vodka. If you are not allergic to Bell Peppers like I am, then you will like the Bell Pepper Martini. It is a mix of Hendricks Gin, Benedictine, Lemon Juice, Grapefruit Juice, Hard Rock’s simple syrup, green peppers, mint and garnished with a green pepper ring. Wascally Wabbit has such a cute name. It contains a mix of Domaine de Canton Ginger Liquor, Captain Morgan, Grand Marnier, Hard Rock’s simple syrup, carrot juice, apple juice and garnished with a large mint sprig.
The cocktails are priced from S$18 to S$20.
A mocktail will also be introduced for those who cannot take alcohol. The Beet Orange Ginger Juice is a fresh blend of ginger, beet and orange juice. The mocktail is priced at S$8.
