Enjoy Grand Cru Quality Wines at Fullerton Hotel Singapore’s Courtyard

Relax in the south courtyard at the Fullerton Hotel Singapore, home to Singapore’s General Post Office in the past. Enjoy quality wines including up to 30 different labels of 100 pointer wines available from the newly opened Grand Cru, Wine Concierge flagship store. Located in the retail space of what was previously Leica, Grand Cru, Wine Concierge now showcases 500 different labels of wines including 100 top-scoring wines at below S$100 rated by major wine critics including Burghound, Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate and Vinous.

Step into the store and you will also see a familiar and impressive collection of wines such as Château Latour, Château Lafite Rothschild, M. Chapoutier wines and a couple of bottles of Châteauneuf du Papes caught my eye.

Trained sommeliers at the retail store will be at hand to help you source for wines not in the menu.

You can enjoy wines priced from S$8.50 per glass during Happy Hour from 6.30 pm to 8 pm at the South Courtyard and order food to pair with your wines. Full and half bottles are available to drink at the South Courtyard. There is a 10% service charge added to the price of the bottles from the boutique. Reservations are recommended.

At the media preview yesterday evening, one of my favourite white wines was the 2010 M. Chapoutier “De L’orée” Ermitage Blanc which was rated 100 points by Robert Parker. It has notes of honeysuckle, caramelised citrus, white peach, quince and white currant.
