Joining other new outlets including Taiwan’s Dazzling Café and Finland’s Marimekko at Singapore’s newest mall, Capitol Piazza is Parisian tearoom ANGELINA. ANGELINA’s first outlet in Singapore opened on 29 May 2015 and joins the nine outlets in France as well as other international locations in China, Japan, United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

Here you can dine in and enjoy savouries as well as the signature Le Mont-Blanc pastry that is filled with Chestnuts prepared using traditional techniques.

The signature Le Mont-Blanc is a Meringue with light whipped cream and chestnut cream vermicelli for the price of S$13.50. Other pastries are available from S$10 onwards. A plate of large chocolate, vanilla, pistachio or raspberry macaroons at S$9 or a choice of four small macaroons at S$13 are available for you to share.

ANGELINA has an extensive menu that fits your palate any time of the day.

Available in the menu for breakfast till 11.30am daily include the S$35 Angelina Breakfast that comes with a hot beverage, a freshly squeezed fruit juice, mini viennoiseries that comprises a croissant, chocolate-filled pastry and raisins pastry, bread roll with butter, Angelina honey and jam, fresh fruit salad and eggs with a choice of scrambled, fried, soft boiled or omelette. There is a lighter version, Parisian Breakfast at S$25 that does not come with fruit salad and eggs. A la carte items are also available on the menu ranging from S$8 to S$18.

Brunch is available till 2.30pm at S$39 and comes with a hot beverage, freshly squeezed fruit juice, mini viennoiseries, bread roll as well as a choice of the mains of potato eggs and bacon or smoked Scottish salmon. For desserts, you have a choice of pineapple and mango tartare with lime or pain perdu style brioche. If you need a glass of sparkles, you can add S$18 for a glass of champagne.

Also available in the menu are snacks and salads which are available from 11.30am. Snacks include a variety of omelettes, duck foie gras terrine, quiche and tarts amongst others.

With a separate Delicatessen located in the open area, you can pick up a range of sweet specialties flown in from Paris including another ANGELINA signature, the 25cl and 48cl bottle of the old-fashioned hot chocolate “L’Africain”.

Chocolates are also available for take away. The classic French collection packs in eight ganache and four pralines made with cocoa beans sauced from Peru, Tanzania, Ecuador and Venezuela.

 

Besides the signatures, ANGELINA offers other pastries including the Paris-New York pastry, Choc Africain which is inspired by the hot chocolate, seasonal cheese cake and macaroons.

The tearoom’s pastry chefs in France invent, concoct and create new desserts with a contemporary flair using seasonal ingredients twice yearly.
