A new casual diner-style bar has popped up this month at Purvis Street. Fizzy Dayz is by the same folks at Nutmeg & Clove and Last Word located just down the road. It replaces their previous wine bar concept Bar Uva. We liked Bar Uva, but I guess we didn’t frequent it enough to keep it going. The weekend free-flow brunch was amazing.
The space has been spruced up with a lively vibe with neon lights and a playful mural. Now, this is a fun place to chill out, catch up with some friends or start early from 4 pm for their happy hour that ends at 8 pm. They’re closed on Tuesdays.

Chow Down at Fizzy Dayz
The group’s Culinary Director Kenneth Oh has curated a food menu that includes sinful Grilled Cheese, Spaghetti & Meatballs and Steak & Eggs among others. The signature here is the S$22 Nashville Chicken Waffle Burger. A crispy chicken thigh glazed with a spicy hot sauce and maple syrup is sandwiched between two waffles. Crunchy and addictive.
The Loaded Potatoes (S$16) are topped with Wagyu rib fingers and sauteed mushrooms. The Jalapeno Poppers (S$14) are served with Feta Chicken Floss. Other small plates include buffalo wings, mac & cheese or shoe string fries. Small plates are priced from S$14.
Big Plates priced from S$16 to S$28 include Grilled Cheese and brioche, Mini fish & chips, Classic Angus cheeseburger and more. There’re desserts too – Mudpie or Pear Tartlet with Vanilla Gelato.
Check out the menu here.
