After seven successful years, Jason Ong will close Uni Gallery, the popular Japanese casual fine-dining restaurant at The Plaza. He is shifting his focus to a new venture in seafood distribution, expanding operations with a new office in Japan. His new venture aims to continue his legacy of providing premium seafood to the region, with a focus on his own Uni brand, Hachi Uni.

Uni Gallery has sold over 50,000 Uni oyster shots and 30,000 Uni sampler sets, which include up to six different types of sea urchin on a single platter. Over 40,000 Uni chirashi dons have also been sold.

Enjoy the Summer Omakse S$88++ till the end of July. The omakase features seven of Uni Gallery’s best sellers. Indulge in the Ikura Oyster Shot, seasonal sashimi, Pan-seared Foie Gras, Uni Ice Somen, Kani Miso in Shell and A5 Wagyu Donburi. There is also a special lunch promo special at S$22.90++.

For S$138 per tray, indulge in a tray of Sakura Premium Bafun or Hokkaido Uni Bafun instead of the usual S$218 when you order a bottle of 720ml saké.

The extensive ala-carte menu remains available until August. In the final month of August, Uni Gallery will showcase its most popular signature dishes in one Kaiseki menu.

“Uni Gallery has been a wonderful journey, allowing me to merge my passion for fresh seafood with culinary creativity. As we close this chapter, I’m excited to embark on a new venture that will continue to bring the best seafood to the region.”
