The Bay’s Finest Prosecco Brunch at Monti – 21 and 22 August 2021
Just yesterday, we were at The Bay’s Finest Prosecco Brunch which was also held at Monti. The S$150++ per person brunch had a fabulous selection of food and free flow prosecco, white and red wine. Whilst the food menu is available every weekend at Monti, the wine selection for this two-day event featured Zardetto Prosecco and Paolo e Noemia d’Amico Seiano wines.
Monti offers a value-for-money spread of ala carte dishes with unlimited portions to enjoy.
The four of us started with Monti’s brunch favourites including the Monti ‘Eggs Benedict’, Italian Meltting Stracciatella Baguette, Tuscan Pork Sausace Tortellini Stew and Fried Calamari. The freshly made in-house pastas such as the Spaghettoni Aglio Olio E Gamberi, Vanilla Poached Pear & Blue Cheese Ravioli as well as the Rigatoni Pasta were excellent. For the mains, we shaed the US Sirloin Steak Rossini Style, Slow Cooked Beef Cheek, Roasted Pork Belly, Pan Seared Snapper and Spicy Italian Sausage. We also had the Sauteed wild mushrooms in aromatic garlic butter, truffle fries and Sauteed Broccolini. To end off the boozy brunch, we had Monti’s Tiramisu, Dark Chocolate Fondant and White Chocolate & Yoghurt Budino.
It was a lot definitely, but copious amounts of Zardetto Prosecco Brut from Veneto, Italy and Paolo e Noemia d’Amico Seiano Rosso from Lazio, Italy helped digest some of the food. We left at 2 plus and i headed home to nap till dinner time.
