The second edition of the Epicurean Market by Marina Bay Sands returns with a fresh theme of an indoor picnic within a garden setting and participation by the integrated resort’s celebrity chefs as well as wine distributors and food suppliers from 12 to 14 September as part of the Formula One celebratory offerings at the property.
There will be over 50 restaurants, wineries and leading brands at the market. Chefs David Thompson from Long Chim and Tetsuya Wakuda from Waku Ghin will join Singaporean contemporary Justin Quek from Sky on 57 in the line-up. Mozza’s Nancy Silverton and award-winning chef and restauranteur from Los Angeles David Myers will also be making appearances and giving master classes.
Sample wines at the wine appreciation area and enjoy the live entertainment. There will be a sleek central bar area where bartenders and mixologists will serve signature concoctions and demonstrate their craft. Buy back gourmet produce at the Fresh Food Market. There is also a gourmet coffee and dessert zone.
Louis XIII Cognac Tasting MasterClass on 12 September 4pm

db Bistro Moderne’s Executive Pastry Chef Benjamin Siwek will teach 25 children in a Junior Pastry Academy session to create delicious chocolate chip cookies and marzipan animals.

The #GreatFIJIWaterRace on 13 September 2014, 11am to 9pm
With a grand prize of $2,000 cash and 3D2N stay at Marina Bay Sands, the #GreatFIJIWaterRace is an amazing-race style competition where adventurous foodies race against time to complete challenges to earn points. The race is open to attendees of Epicurean Market 2014, and provides an interactive way to explore different zones within the market. Challenges include celebrity chef spotting, coffee art design and more. Contestants are required to engage on platforms such as Instagram or Twitter as part of the race, and with a total of 5 mandatory tasks and 2 bonus tasks to complete, the person who earns the most number of points in the shortest time wins!
