Dazzling Café has nine outlets in Taiwan, four in Shanghai and one in Hong Kong and you often spot long queues at these cafés. The Dazzling brand was set up by Taiwanese socialite Janet Yang in 2005 as jewellery boutique called Dazzling Fashion. After five years, Janet launched the café arm in 2010.
It got widely recognised for their Shibuya-style Honey Toast and interior design. The Honey Toast contains ingredients including strawberries, honey, custard, pistachio, a scoop of Haagen-Dazs ice cream. It comes with a honey jug so that you can decide how much honey to add.
Other signature dishes includes the mochi “QQ” waffle and Mentaiko pasta which is served with shredded seaweed and a spoonful of roe at the tip of the pasta, mixed with creamy sauce and Mentaiko roe, a sweet-salty, pink and flaky condiment.
Dazzling Café’s first outlet in Taiwan was opened in 2010. It was called Dazzling Café Pink offering a cosy and intimate place to meet up with friends.
There are plans for two Dazzling Cafés in Singapore and in more in Malaysia and Indonesia within the next one to two years.
