We haven’t been back to the Conrad Centennial Singapore for quite a while and we just heard about Chef Bruno Philippe’s innovative creation called the Cruffin, we got excited. Launched in early May, the cruffins have gained popularity and are produced twice daily and are best eaten within the same day.

The cruffin is actually a hybrid between a croissant and a muffin. Baked and presented int he shape of a muffin, it is layer with flaky French buttery dough so you when you pull it apart, it has the texture of a croissant. The cruffin has four types of fillings. There is the Chocolate Ganache and Pastry Custard as well as fruity flavours including the Raspberry Marmalade and Apple Cinnamon Crumble. We hear that the top popular flavour is the Custard followed by the Apple Cinnamon Crumble.

Available from The Terrace just adjacent to Millenia Walk, the cruffins are priced at S$3 each. While at The Terrace, you can also enjoy a Ham and Cheese Croissant set at S$10 nett from Mondays to Fridays 7.30am to 9.30am. The set includes a Smoked Turkey Ham and Cheddar Cheese Croissant and a cup of freshly brewed gourmet coffee or Ronnefeldt tea.

Now isn’t this enough reason to return to the Conrad Centennial Singapore?
