Rishi Naleendra Jets to WA for Cabin Fever

Cabin Fever returns 14 to 23 July 2023 with an eight-hands lunch featuring Cloudstreet’s Rishi Naleendra.

Chef Owner Rishi Naleendra, known for his two Michelin-starred restaurant Cloudstreet in Singapore, will guest star at one of the events during the 10-day Cabin Fever festival in Western Australia. The festival, taking place from July 14 to July 23, celebrates the best of winter in Western Australia’s South West region with a variety of events. Rishi Naleendra will be joined by three esteemed Western Australian chefs – Evan Hayter of Arimia Margaret River, Calum McKechnie of Lallah Roohk, and Luke Foyle of Juanita’s – to create a unique dining experience for 100 guests. This special winter lunch, prepared by these four talented chefs, will be served at a pop-up restaurant located between the iconic Busselton Jetty and Shelter Brewing Co. on July 14, 2023.

Cabin Fever offers more than 50 events throughout its 10-day duration, showcasing the best of winter in the Margaret River region. Visitors can enjoy bonfire nights, indulge in hearty comfort food, savour bold red wines, and sample warming winter brews. The festival’s seventh edition will see the return of popular events like Blazing Brews at Beerfarm, featuring cozy bonfires and delicious winter brews, as well as the Cheese Toastie Battle. In this battle, chefs compete to create the most extraordinary versions of the beloved winter comfort food, with past editions incorporating ingredients like truffle and lobster. The festival promises an exciting and diverse program for attendees.
