Audra Morrice, a finalist of MasterChef Australia in 2012 and resident judge on MasterChef Asia, will be cooking up a five-course Wine Dinner from 26 to 29 October 2017 at PoolGrill at the Marriott Singapore Tang Plaza.

Audra recently appeared in Qantas Meet The Sydneyporeans mini series. We also previously had the opportunity to bake a Dark Chocolate Raspberry Tart with Port Jelly with Audra Morrice in 2014.  So when we heard that we were going to be able to dine with her, we were extremely excited.

The five course wine dinner is priced at S$128 nett per person and includes canapés and wines. The dinner starts at 6.45pm and ends at 9.30pm. Diners will get to enjoy the best of Australian produce, eclectically Asian cooking styles and the creative harmonies of flavours and textures of Audra’s culinary repertoire. The meal is paired with Australian wines from the famed Frankland Estate Vineyard.

“I have created a special menu based on some of my favourite flavours and inspirations from my travels, utilizing the best of Australian produce,” said Audra. “It is wonderful to be able to share with the diners in Singapore all the best produce that we have in Australia and to that I add a ladle of Singaporean tradition, a teaspoon of familiar local flavours, the all-important interactive crispy indulgence matched with family comfort, before finishing the dinner with sweet essentials,” she added.

“Food does not need to be classified or be put into boxes. Food is not something to fill an empty stomach – it is a way of getting to know yourself, your neighbours and the world we live in. Through food, we learn about culture, and through culture, we broaden our minds and become more accepting, and through these culinary experiences, we live a better life,” said Audra.
