Look out for these five new and sweet Monteur Japanese Sweets the next time you are in 7-Eleven right here in Singapore. Each are priced less than S$3 and are extremely addictive. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Monteur has been making premium desserts for over six decades in Japan. Milk used for the desserts are delivered fresh from farms surrounding their factories. The creamy goodness is then immediately pasteurised to preserve its premium quality.
My favourites include the cream puff with vanilla custard and the Silk Roll. Other products in the range include a chocolate eclair, chocolate silk roll and the milk and egg waffle.
