Ascenda is expanding its partnership with OCBC, the second largest financial group in Southeast Asia by assets, with a comprehensive premium rewards proposition to enhance OCBC’s credit card offerings for OCBC customers holding Travel$, Voyage Miles and OCBC$ rewards balances.
Ascenda now enables the bank to elevate its aspirational rewards offering and introduce valuable new redemption options. It has previously built the Travel with OCBC platform which offers cardmembers a hassle-free digital experience to book flights, hotel stays and car rentals using OCBC’s reward currencies.
Now customers can transfer their rewards currencies into eight new major airline and hotel partner programmes via the bank’s points exchange portal STACK. Stack and manage rewards points across multiple rewards programmes on this portal. Cardholders can manage rewards points balances and expiring points across participating rewards programmes, pool rewards points together to redeem for bigger rewards. Participating rewards programme partners include OCBC, Great Eastern Rewards, Millennium Hotels & Resorts, Frasers Experience, Accor Live Limitless, Cathay Pacific, British Airways Executive Club, Etihad Guest, Flyingblue by Air France KLM, IHG One Rewards, Marriott Bonvoy and United MileagePlus.
“We’re thrilled to grow our relationship with OCBC, one of Singapore’s leading banks, to bring world-class rewards to market and unlock customer engagement. This transformational launch comes at a very opportune time when consumer appetite for outbound travel is exploding in the Singapore market.”
