FLEX Credit Card by DCS Card Centre: Financial Wellness for Young Professionals in Singapore

DCS Card Centre has introduced its first Visa credit card, the DCS FLEX Card, designed as Singapore’s pioneering entry-level card offering flexible rewards. FLEX stands for “Fly, Leverage, Earn, Xchange,” emphasising flexibility for professionals aged 21 to 35 who seek personalised, sustainable financial tools.

Cardholders can customise rewards by choosing between miles, cash rebates, or investment credits, with the option to switch between these rewards once the feature is launched.

There are four card designs to select from, including two limited-edition designs from Theirsverse’s Cyberpunk Series, with only 1,000 pieces each. The physical cards are eco-friendly and made from 82% recycled plastic. Cardholders can also donate their rewards towards environmental causes, with carbon credits available soon. The card features manageable monthly fees instead of an annual fee.

FLEX users can earn up to 8% in investment credits, which are automatically deposited into an iFast account, up to 2.4 miles per dollar spent, or an 8% cash rebate, giving cardholders flexibility to meet their financial goals. Spending and rewards tracking are accessible through the DCS Cards App, which includes a rewards tracker for optimised earnings.

Additional benefits include free travel insurance, flexible repayments with interest-free instalments and low processing fees starting at 3%, and D-Vault, a virtual account that allows cardholders to increase their spending limit by topping up via bank transfers or digital assets.

In September, DCS Card Centre partnered with Triple-A, a licensed digital currency payment solutions provider, to allow DCS cardmembers virtual account tip-ups via digital assets. Triple-A handles the crypto-to-fiat conversion, ensuring the fiat amount in SGD is instantly reflected in the cardmember’s balance. Triple-A, licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), fully manages this process, while DCS—an MAS-regulated credit and charge card issuer under the Banking Act—has no direct interaction with digital assets.

Last August, Diners Club Singapore celebrated its fiftieth anniversary and rebranded to DCS Card Centre as part of its major transformation. It has since transformed from an exclusive franchise of Diners Club International as its sole issuer and acquirer in Singapore to increase its product portfolio with other global card schemes, including Mastercard, UnionPay and Visa.
