Changi Airport new Digital Wallet Changi Pay

Changi Airport Group Launches Changi Pay digital wallet

Changi Airport Group has partnered Liquid Group Pte Ltd to launch its own digital wallet. Use Changi Pay to make contactless QR payments at close to 260 stores in Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport. Redeem discount vouchers when you check out and earn Changi Rewards and CapitaStar points at Jewel stores. This includes shopping on iShopChangi.

Changi Airport Group will roll out up to S$720 worth of vouchers to Changi Pay users. Lok out for vouchers from Burger & Lobster, Paris Baguette, Eu Yan Sang and SHILLA Duty Free. They will be rolled out over 12 weeks. Users can download them on a first-come-first-served basis. Changi Pay users can also download a S$5 welcome voucher when they sign up for Changi Pay. You can then redeem your voucher at participating F&B outlets in Changi Airport and Jewel.

This will be rolled out to more stores progressively. The wallet is housed in the iChangi app. Existing users can activate the Changi Pay function in their iChangi to start using. More functions will be introduced in the future. This will be added to Changi Eats food delivery platform. Complimentary parking coupons will automatically be credited into users’ Car Pass accounts when it is integrated with Changi Car Pass. You will also be able to book play sessions at Changi’s thematic events using Changi Play Pass when Changi Pay is integrated. There are plans to introduce partnerships with other digital wallets, banks and merchants outside of Changi.

“CAG is constantly looking at ways to enhance the leisure experience for our visitors and travellers at Changi Airport. With travel curtailed, we took the opportunity to examine how we can integrate our various retail and F&B platforms which have grown over the years, so that our fans can enjoy the Changi experience more seamlessly. We are hence very excited to launch Changi Pay, which brings greater convenience and rewards to our shoppers and diners, regardless of whether they are engaging with us offline or online. When more travel resumes, CAG also plans to allow users to exchange and pay in foreign currencies through Changi Pay while overseas.”
