AIA Group Limited (listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under stock code 1299) has established AIA VCC, a Variable Capital Company in Singapore as part of its group wide investment programme to facilitate capital deployment globally.
AIA Investment Management Private Limited is the Investment Manager of AIA VCC. since 2016 as the Group level asset management company with reported assets under management of S$178 billion as at end 2020.
AIA explores how the recently introduced VCC framework can support its investment programme. It will focus on balance sheet exposure, specialist and alternative investment strategies.
