Her love for comfort, femininity and smart masculinity takes flight in her seemingly endless options of jackets. Her choice of tweed, velvet and corduroy on traditional tailored cuts are singed in on the waist, reflecting the 50’s post-liberation glee.  They pair beautifully with fitted or looser skirts and pants, ideal for work, school, or even, a day out for brunch with the iconic berets.

While most are meant for colder climates, there is also a reversible jacket that is light as a cardigan. She has covered all bases with her classic, yet unconventionally wearable jackets.

The beauty of a Winter getaway is being able to play with layers and experimenting with different accessories. Ines presents us a European vibe with the highlights of this collaboration; the thick knitted sweaters. She also adds a touch of vintage to the look, adding on accessories such as knitted scarves, hats and mittens to keep that winter #OOTD on point in utter comfort.

Most of all, she brings back her beloved fawn motif for the cable knitted sweaters on top of the jacquard. There will also be long sleeve shirts in various prints to layer under knits, Long Pea Coats or the Military Jacket. The latter creates a careful balance of masculinity and elegance when paired with the skirts or one of her Gathered Dresses.

Like Ines said, “We can change our style in many ways by adding a new item to our everyday wear.” Starting from S$14.90 for a Lambswool Beanie, there are belts, Tweed Baker Caps, Fedora Hats and several scarves to change up your usual day-to-day or holiday style.

As the author of Parisian Chic, she has lived up to her name and brought us exactly that with her fourth collection with UNIQLO. I adore it, and while it may seem too much for the weather in Singapore, I would love to have one of those jackets or a Fedora Hat in my wardrobe.

The collection will range from S$14.90 for beanies to S$269.90 for a Long Pea Coat. It will be released in two batches exclusively at Suntec City and in the Online store; 4 September and 16 October 2015.
