25 February 2013, Singapore – PUMA launches a new-to-market category of performance running – Adaptive Running with the Mobium Elite show which will be available from April 2013 at S$179.

The PUMA Mobium Elite performance trainer expands and contracts as the foot moves and expands in three directions, longitudinally, laterally and vertically.   The shoe comes with a three-part system that encourages runners to land on their mid-foot rather than a hard heel strike offering more efficiency and less ‘braking action’.

The shoe’s Mobium Band enhances the foot’s natural spring.  Running through the outside in a “figure eight”, it is designed to work like the tendons in your foot.

The Windlass Chassis mimics the Windlass Effect of a foot’s expansion and contraction as it moves.  The sculptured arch creates a platform for the foot in movement so the shoe moves the way the foot naturally does.

PUMA Mobium Elite’s Expansion Pods on the outsole of the shoe expand and contracw ith the foot providing a smoother transition for runners.
