Carrying items from your everyday power bank to a dinner date number, Lazada is making itself known as Asia’s number one online shopping mall. I’ve been a customer of Floor 3, featuring luxury bands like YSL, high street labels from the UK and US, and their own affordable in-house brand, LZD, for female consumers. They carry a range of styles, and promises you a full cart whether you’re into high fashion or alternative edgy, or if you’re just looking for a flattering dress for a girls’ night out. All while maintaining the company’s aim to provide us with trend-led designs without busting our wallets, if I must add on.
With Anne-Marie Bodal taking the role of Fashion Creative Director at the Lazada group, they have upped the ante of the LZD brand with their first ever formal LZD Premium Collection. It features a very special theme that all girls can relate with, fairy tales. Focusing on the metamorphosis and fight between Good and Evil, the collection was unveiled through an enchanting journey; from an ingénue princess to the enigmatic dark moon.
The collection featured pieces with strong design aesthetics, uniting pragmatism with glamour. It combines various colours and textures, with sophisticated cuts, all while thinking of their LZD girl. They promise to pique your interest whether your style be edgy rock or artistic bohemian. The lighter choice of fabric promises to give you comfort while you stay chic on our sunny (and incredibly humid) island – something export brands have not been able to properly cater for.
They have placed the consumer first, and it is evident in their designs. It is versatile, and an elegant sort of edgy, without having to figure out which was the sleeve and what nots. It is what all we busy ladies want, isn’t it? To look amazing without having to watch out for a wardrobe malfunction every five minutes. Besides those stunning dresses, they presented tops, bottoms and outers that can easily fit into anyone’s wardrobe – either as a staple or as something to dress up an otherwise mundane outfit (like that studded denim vest I’ve been keeping an eye on).
The LZD premium collection will be released February 2015, ranging from an affordable $25 to $150. Be sure to decide which of these pieces you would love to have in your wardrobe as only 10 pieces will be released for each design! So ladies, get your mouse clickers ready next year for this annual exclusive.
