Alexander McQueen has picked Chinese actor Liu Haoran(劉昊然) as its ambassador in China. Images and a fashion film of him in Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2022 menswear collection have been unveiled. Also known as Turbo Liu, the 224 year Chinese heartthrob has appeared in Detective Chinatown where he plays Qin Feng as well as other dramas including Novoland: Eagle Flag, Nirvana in Fire 2: The Wind Blows in Chang Lin. and Only Fools Rush In amongst others.
The Spring/Summer 2022 collection is inspired by the British artist, printmaker and poet, William Blake. It focusses on classic shirting and sharp tailoring spliced with exploded ruffles and finished with zip detailing, sporty leather joggers and bold knits and accents of clear, bright colour.
