CLOTHESMITH takes a revolutionary approach towards bespoke services where process and experience come together in a new concept that is fun, seamless and accessible.
ONE. Step into their retro boutique located on the second level of a Boat Quay shophouse nestled in the historical and stylish quarters of the Central Business District that we are so familiar with.
TWO. Follow the easy step-by-step instructional boards on choosing the right shirt. You are guided by these catchy boards on how to choose the suitable individual colours based on your skin tone and level of contrast, followed by the collar which will best suit your face shape.
THREE. Be mesmerized by Clothesmith’s original fabric wall, the eye catching main feature of our boutique that presents our fabric collection in just one clear glance. Choose and compare different fabric swatches, mix and match the different colours and patterns. Selecting your fabrics has never been so simple and fun.
Once you have experienced CLOTHESMITH, off the rack shirts seem to be a compromise you can do without.
The story behind CLOTHESMITH
CLOTHESMITH is the brainchild of Leslie Chia, who is behind highly sought after brand ‘PIMABS’. Leslie saw a demand in his beautifully cut shirts, pants and suits amongst the discerning men who seeks simplistic designs for their wardrobe. Thus the idea of launching a secondary line was conceived to deliver the same cut in classic designs and fabrics at affordable prices.
With the help of Chong Han San, CLOTHESMITH is set to raise the level in the arena of bespoke men’s wear. Han San has designed for well known labels including Guess, Raoul and Orca. With his experience, customers of CLOTHESMITH will discover well cut shirts made with a fashion slant.
What is the difference between PIMABS and CLOTHESMITH?
PIMABS Bespoke Menswear provides a highly individualized service where clients are served on a by appointment basis only. Clients of PIMABS are advised and personally designed for by Leslie Chia and each PIMABS creation is a one of a kind design with Leslie’s deft designer touch to it.
CLOTHESMITH on the other hand offers classic design variations for each shirt. Designs are more straightforward and simplified. Customers can walk in at anytime during operational hours to choose from the design templates, which we have created for their easy selection of fabrics and designs. Each piece of clothing is also made according to the customer’s body measurements through our precise measurement techniques.
Prices starts from $130 for custom shirts and pants, and $650 onwards for custom suits.
