BONIA has a new leading man. Appointed Creative Director, Pepe Torres will be bringing 20 years-worth of European savior-faire to their AW 2015/16 collections.
While his name eludes many of us, his work in the fashion industry have not gone unnoticed. His journey began humbly, where he spent his childhood sketching and drawing away until he eventually graduated from a fine art school with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design to fulfil his ultimate passion and goal to become a fashion designer. Since then, he has been working with luxury brands including Burberry, Loewe, Pronovias, Carolina Herrera and MANGO.
As a man with a strong creative mind, he does not limit himself. He draws inspiration from travelling, reading a book, visiting a tour or a fashion runway. As he said, “As a creative person, you can find your creativity from everywhere.” It hardly surprises us that he was drawn to BONIA, an Asian-grown brand, where he will be able to merge his vision with this new inspiration.
I have gained an interest in BONIA since their strong stand for a sustainable future with their Green Leather and eco-friendly Brianna Collection. Now, with a new creative director helming their new collection, I am looking forward to how much he can bring to the table and, perhaps, take Eco-Fashion to new heights.

Currently, she enjoys looking like Sailor Mercury had a baby with Wednesday Addams.
