Marseille-based fashion designer Mickaël Azoulay created American Vintage in 2005. He wanted to make an impact in the fashion world by reinventing the basics comprised of tees and tanks and today, the collection has grown since into a full ready –to-wear line made up of chic yet comfy separates with core staples that fit well into the modern closet.
The brand has evolved over the past 10 years and Azoulay firmly believes in creating an attitude and experience in a person’s lifestyle through fashion. Hence, to celebrate this milestone, American Vintage decided to work with 10 French lifestyle brands to create a capsule of products ranging from underwear to jewellery to home decorative items.
This project has given American Vintage the opportunity to seek out young French designers such as Médecine Douce, Non Sans Raison, Margaux Keller, Maison MAISON, Le Slip Français, Au Fil De Temps’ and a few others who are known for their bold choices. This major collaborative project is a partnership between different brands who share the same taste for simplicity, modernity and authenticity.
