Wine Discovery Weekend 2024 returns 12 October 2024

The Wine Discovery Weekend 2024 returns on October 12, 2024, from 10am to 4pm at the Mandarin Oriental Grand Ballroom. This event will showcase over 120 wines, offering the chance to meet winemakers and export ambassadors from France, Italy, Spain, and numerous other countries.

The 9th Edition, themed “Treasured Terroirs and Hidden Harvests,” reflects how, despite global uncertainties in 2024, wineries continue to innovate and produce exceptional wines from their unique terroirs amid changing climate conditions. The unwavering philosophy of these small, family-owned producers from various regions remains a constant.

Ewineasia.com and Alfa International Pte Ltd represent wineries from 17 countries, including France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria, the USA, Chile, Argentina, and also from China, Russia, Morocco, Peru, Syria, among other intriguing locations.

The event will feature three thematic masterclasses, each accommodating 30 participants and priced at S$38 nett per person. The masterclasses include Spanish Icons, Yves Cuilleron: Northern Rhone to Sonoma County, and Hidden Spanish Treasures. Spanish Icons will highlight Alvaro Palacios Grandes Vinos from Priorat and Bodegas Roda from Rioja Alta. Yves Cuilleron: Northern Rhone to Sonoma County will be led by a prominent Rhone Valley producer. Hidden Spanish Treasures will showcase Celler Pinol from Terra Alta, Cellar Kripta (formerly Agusti Torello) from Penedes, and Abadia Retuerta from Sardon de Duero, each with its distinct D.O.
