The May edition of Mandala Masters features Indian Accent from New Delhi

Mandala Masters partners with Amaya Ventures to bring #19 ranked Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, Indian Accent from New Delhi for its latest residency in Singapore. The culinary residency programme previously featured globally acclaimed and World’s 50 Best restaurants, such as Narisawa, Mirazur by Chef Mauro Colagreco, Gaggan Anand and MASL by superpower couple Virgilio Martínez and Pía León.

Celebrated Chef Manish Mehrotra and Chef Shantanu Mehrotra will be residents at Mandala Club from 9 to 25 May 2023. This special event is sponsored by Singapore-based single family office Amaya Ventures. Indian Accent is renowned as the pioneering modern Indian restaurant worldwide, with dishes inspired by traditional Indian flavours reimagined with contemporary techniques and global influences.

During the Mandala Club residency, Chef Manish Mehrotra will bring his inventive and creative approach to Indian cuisine for the exclusive two-week residency from Tuesday to Sunday for both lunch and dinner. The gastronomic experience will feature 4-,7- or 9-course menus starting at S$188++ for lunch and S$238++ for dinner. Chef Shantanu Mehrotra, the executive chef at Indian Accent, will cook alongside Chef Manish Mehrotra for the residency along with their 40-strong team. Shantanu has been working with Manish since Indian Accent opened in 2009.

Expect dishes such as Kanyakumari crab with sago pongal and a delicate serving of caviar, followed by a decadent dessert featuring a doda burfi treacle tart glazed with caramelised milk ice-cream. Other main course choices include a succulent Wagyu pathar kebab with bone marrow nihari adorned with lily buds.

EHV International’s Head of Bars Varun Sharma will be present for the duration of the residency highlighting Indian Accent’s thoughtfully curated beverage programme which features craft cocktails and unique infusions. EHV International’s Head of Wines Kevin Rodrigues has developed an extensive wine list to complement the distinct flavours featured throughout this culinary journey.

Lunch is served from Tuesday to Sunday with seatings every 15 minutes from 12pm to 13.30pm The 4-course, 7-course and 9-course menus are priced at S$188++, S$238++ and S$288++ respectively. Dinner is served from Tuesdays to Sundays at 6pm, 6.15pm, 6.30pm, 6.45pm or 8pm, 8.15pm, 8.30pm and 8.45pm. The 7-course menu is priced at S$238++ while the 9-course menu is priced at S$288++.
