For the first time, the event will be launching the first-ever sake awards in Singapore. The judging panel for Singapore Sake Awards will include seven individuals who are distinguished in the Asian sake industry. Adrian Goh, the director of Inter Rice Asia Pte Ltd will be the Head Judge. He is also an IWC judge, WSET Sake Educator (we did our level 1 WSET Sake with Adrian), WSET & IWSC Future 50 Awards. Two other senior judges joining Adrian include Sean Ou from The Beverage Clique Academy and Elliot Faber, the co-founder of Sake Central and Sunday’s Spirits.
The other judges include Daisuke Shibuya who is senior manager at SFBI Pte Ltd; Andrew Ang who is director at Kirei Japanese Food Supply (Pte) Ltd; Cheong Wai Lung who is the founder of Ryu Sake and Oliva Chey, the Sake & Shochu Sommelier at Kurara.
