The Fullerton Hotel Singapore & The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore commemorate International Women’s Day (8 March 2022) with the annual Purple Afternoon Tea, to raise funds for women’s empowerment. Purple is the official colour of International Women’s Day and symbolises justice and dignity. It is historically associated with efforts to achieve gender equality.
Served from 1 to 31 March 2022, S$5 nett from the proceeds of each purple-hued Afternoon Tea set will be donated to United Women Singapore, a non-profit organisation that aims to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment by promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) for girls and advocacy on the prevention of domestic violence.
The Purple Afternoon Tea will be served at The Courtyard in The Fullerton Hotel Singapore (from S$51++ per adult) and at The Landing Point in The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore (from S$60++ per adult).
