Eat Spain, Drink Spain Returns to Singapore | 15 Sept – 15 Oct 2024 | Spanish Cuisine & Wine Events

The second edition of “Eat Spain Drink Spain” by ICEX Spain through the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Singapore returns 15 September to 15 October 2024.

The Spanish culinary event will showcase more than 12 activities, including wine dinners, tastings, cooking workshops, and collaborations with F&B outlets across Singapore, offering locals a chance to experience the vibrant and wholesome flavours of Spain.

The previous edition of “Eat Spain Drink Spain Singapore” saw great success, featuring 20 events with strong attendance.

18 local restaurants here that display the Restaurants from Spain (RFS) seal have been given the seal of authenticity and quality in Spanish cuisine with two new establishments recently earning this certification. The list includes Esquina, FOC, FOC Sentosa, Kulto, Lumbre, My Little Spanish Place at Boat Quay and Bukit Timah, Next Door Spanish Cafe, UNA at the Alkaff, Tapas Club VivoCity, Tapas Club Orchard and Tapas Club Jewel

The “Restaurants from Spain” certificate recognises and supports restaurants focused on authentic Spanish cuisine and culture, ensuring quality standards for consumers. Awarded through a rigorous selection process led by ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, alongside other notable gastronomic institutions, the certification highlights establishments that offer genuine Spanish ingredients, recipes, and dishes. Renewed annually, it aims to promote authentic Spanish cuisine globally, benefiting both restaurants and the HORECA sector by increasing visibility and access to Spanish products. Additionally, certified restaurant teams will receive specialized training in Spanish gastronomy and wines to enhance their culinary offerings.

RFS restaurants participating in Eat Spain, Drink Spain 2024 include Asador, Binomio, Gaig, Olivia Restaurant & Lounge, Tapas 24 and Pura Brasa.
