8 April 2012, Singapore – The Wiggles, a children’s music group formed in Sydney in 1991, will return to Singapore to get up close and personal with their Wiggly fans at the Grand Theater at Marina Bay Sands. Tickets for the spectacular live show on 26 and 27 May, 2012 are currently on sale.
The Wiggles have sold more than 17 million DVDs as well as four million CDs, becoming Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s most successful pre-school television programme.
Celebrating the return of the original yellow Wiggle Greg Page, this will be the first time the original Wiggles are performing in Singapore. After being away from the group for five years due to an illness, Greg is returning to the role he knows best. According to Greg this is an extraordinary moment for his history with group. “I’m excited to be back with my friends and to be entertaining our incredible fans again”
Since releasing their first album in 1991, The Wiggles have captivated preschool-age kids and equally delighted parents around the world with their catchy songs and lively family shows.
