10 December 2011, Singapore – Hyoyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Taeyeon, Tiffany, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, Seohyun brought the Singapore Indoor Stadium down with a great opening song Genie on their second night of their full house concert. It was a sea of pink and some purple light sticks at the event organized by Running Into The Sun.

Raised above the stage in a container the nine beauties of Girls’ Generation or SNSD for short in Korean, pyrotechnics were first introduce into the almost three hour long performance. Other songs worthy of mention amongst the twenty five songs performed are THE BOYS!, Danny Boy, Sway, Mr. Taxi, Oh!, Run Devil Run/Devil’s Cry and Hoot.

The crowd went ballistic when the nine performed The Boys. Singing along to SNSD’s first full English song they released as a single in America, the feeling was just too intense for me!! The crowd really love SNSD!
Danny Boy performed by Taeyeon, Tiffany, Sunny, Jessica and Seohyun was hair raisingly crisp, clear and absolutely heart warming! Their rendition of the song that has been sung by many great singers such as Dame Kiri te Kenawa, Sarah Vaughn and many more was first composed by Englishman Eric Weatherley in 1910. If only I was called Danny, then they would be calling out to me.

Sway was also another familiar tune. Remembering many years back when Michael Bublé performed the same song on the same spot on the stage.  Sooyoung’s voice also touched me. Guess I am the oldie in the stadium, talking too much about the old English classic songs.

The fans out there including SNSD’s many fan clubs such as SOSHIFIED, fans of SINGAPORE LOVES SMTOWN and Sunny Fans who were here tonight can definitely attest to how great the performance was. Besides the twenty five songs, the girls gave an encore performance of additional eight songs – My Child, Nen Myung, HaHaHa Song, Gee, Forever, Into The New World, Way To Go and Fantastic!
