14 October 2011, Singapore – The fourth edition of the annual Love & Pride Film Festival (LPFF) is back at GV Grand, Great World City from 18 to 23 October 2011.
The line-up of films this year will comprise uncut, unedited Asian films Permanent Residence and Amphetamine in Cantonese. Never been screened in Singapore film Private Romeo, and critically-acclaimed titles The Kids Are All Right and I Love You Phillip Morris are other films to look out for.
The LPFF will kick off with an opening gala reception at GV Grand, Great World City on 18 October where Hong Kong actor and emerging new start Tom Price will be making a special appearance. He starred in the recently released Steven Soderbergh’s 2011 American medical thriller Contagion and the popular Taiwanese idol drama series Love You.
Tom will also be speaking at the LPFF question and answer session hosted by talented home grown filmmaker, Boo Junfeng. Tom will be sharing his thoughts and experiences in his first breakout role that earned him a nomination for the Best New Performer at the 2010 Hong Kong Film Awards.
LPFF will close with the film Amphetamine where Tom Price plays the second lead role.
Festival ticket holders will enjoy 15% off all ala carte menu items at Bangkok Jam and Pronto restaurants at Great World City.
