Singapore Comic Con (SGCC) is bringing together the best of Western and Asian pop culture with immersive fan experiences enhanced by 3D, augmented reality, and AI tech. Special guests include renowned illustrator Yuko Shimizu and popular cosplayer Rurusama, while four innovative Made-with-Singapore games are set to premiere.
Held in conjunction with the 11th Singapore Media Festival from 28 November to 8 December 2024, SGCC will be held on 7 and 8 December 2024 at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre (Level 1 & Basement 2). SGCC will introduce a new ambassador, local cosplayer Rurusama, who will present an exclusive fan experience powered by 3D, augmented reality and artificial intelligence technology in collaboration with True Blue Production.
Mighty Jaxx’s exclusive Luffy XXRAY One Piece Luffy Wanted Series Treasure Gold Edition merchandise and The Life Saving Figurines, a limited-edition series created in partnership with the Singapore Civil Defence Force and Accenture will make their global premiere.
This year, SGCC will host Singapore’s first-ever Disney Store pop-up, featuring exclusive, pre-release collectibles perfect for the holiday season from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. Shoppers at the booth could win magical items like a Darth Maul Legacy Lightsaber set, festive ornaments, Ears Headbands, and Season’s Greetings Postcards. Don’t forget to bring a Disney pin to trade with cast members—find a favorite and swap it for one of yours!
Be among the first in Singapore to discover these collectables prior to their online release at the Disney Store’s pop-up. The Anakin Skywalker (Jedi Apprentice) Legacy LIGHTSABER HILT features sound effects and illuminates blue when you attach one of the LIGHTSABER blades, sold separately. Four new Made-with-Singapore games will make their debut showcase at SGCC. These IMDA-supported titles, developed by local studios, offer uniquely Singaporean gameplay include A Stitch in Time by Crimson Forge, Commonwealth by Lambdamu Games, Find Lah! by The Doodle People, and Roachman by Andas Productions. Additionally, gamers can look forward to an exciting Mobile Legends community challenge organised by Mediacorp.
