Singapore Airlines, the current title sponsor of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Singapore since 2014 has extended its sponsorship for another two years till 2021. The announcement was made today by Singapore Airlines’ CEO Goh Choon Phong and Formula 1 Chairman and CEO Chase Carey just as the Formula 1 night race in Singapore is happening this weekend.

The Marina Bay Circuit spans 5.063 km with 23 corners, a bumpy street surface, tight corners and humid conditions. The circuit also boasts features unique to the Singapore track such as Turn 18 where drivers pass underneath a grandstand.
