4 January 2012, Singapore – Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. today announced the range of smartphones that will be launched in Singapore during Q1 of 2012. The three models consist of a Microsoft’s Windows Phone based smartphone, Samsung Omnia W and two Google Android based smartphones, Samsung GALAXY Nexus & Samsung GALAXY W.
The Samsung Galaxy W & Omnia W and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will be available from 7 January 2012 in Singapore.
Samsung GALAXY Nexus
Samsung GALAXY Nexus is the first smartphone to feature Android 4.0,Ice Cream Sandwich which brings an entirely new look and feel to Android. It has a redesigned user interface with improved multi-tasking, notifications, Wi-Fi hotspot, NFC support and a full web browsing experience. GALAXY Nexus features software navigation buttons, a first for Android smartphones. The lock screen, home screen, phone app, and everything in between has been rethought and redesigned to make Android simple, beautiful, and useful.
