Organisers hope to hold their largest event this year. Run For Hope first started in 1993 and this year is the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) will be the beneficiary for the sixth time.
Last year, more than 10,000 runners raised close to S$450,000 while this year the aim is to draw 15,000 participants and raise S$600,000.
Besides the non-competitive run with two distance options, the Executive Challenge for corporate teams will return this year for corporate teams of 20 runners or more.
